Nadean Dot Wood, age 82 of Centre, passed away Monday, October 31st at Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Funeral services will be 3:PM Wednesday, November 2nd, at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with John Clayton officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Charles Randall Wood III, Christopher Wood, Darrell Eaton, Alex Weeks, Matt Hendricks, Talmon Murphy, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Wood; son, Charles Randall Wood, Jr. of Centre; daughter, Paula Woodring of Rome, GA; 4 grandchildren, Holly Marie Hendricks of Rome, GA, Charles Randall Wood III of Centre, Christopher Van Wood of Centre, Tiffany Eaton of Sand Rock; 2 great grandchildren, Samantha Weeks of Sand Rock, Alex Weeks of Sand Rock.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Tillery and granddaughter, Natasha Tillery.
Mrs. Wood was a native of Piedmont, the daughter of the late Ronald and Bertha Nicholson Blythe, was a loving mother and homemaker and was of the Jehovah Witness faith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall.
