A 50 year old Etowah County man is currently being held on a $25,000 cash bond following his arrest on charges of Incest and 2nd Degree Rape.
An investigation was launched October 6th following a report by the juvenile victim.
According to reports that incident allegedly took place the day before in Rainbow City; and, as a result, James Lee Kennedy of Gadsden, remains lodged in the Etowah County Detention Center.
The James M. Barrie Center for Children, and Etowah County District Attorney’s Office, both assisted in the investigation.
