Two men accused of stealing a four-wheeler from a Boaz home, are now behind bars in Etowah County.
Sheriff Todd Entrekin says deputies spotted 22 year old John Henry Williams riding the hot ATV and made a traffic stop; at that point Williams confessed that he and 19 year old Destin Chase Tidwell of Oneonta, took the four-wheeler from a residence on Bristow Cove Road.
The ATV has since been returned to the rightful owner.
The two were arrested and charged with First Degree Theft of Property then transported to the Etowah County Detention Center.
Tidwell has since been released after making his $5,000 bond – Williams remains jailed on a bond of $6,000.
