Mr. Raymond Earl Pierce 80 of Centre passed away Saturday August13th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Monday August 15th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.Tim Smith and Rev. James Rainey officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Monday.
Pallbearers include David Adams, William “Bubba” Johnson, Luis Perez, Terry Agan, Ronnie Thompson and Ricky Thompson.
Survivors include wife of 57 years, Shirley Lambert Pierce of Centre; daughters, Malissa (Tim) Smallwood and Darla Pierce both of Dallas, Ga.; sister, Peggy Watts of Piedmont; 4 grandchildren, April Dickey of Nashville, Tn., Allison Dickey of Los Angeles, Ca., Drake and Kyler Smallwood of Dallas, Ga.; 1 great-grandchild, Adaleigh Scott of Nashville, Tn.; several nieces and nephews.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
Mr. Pierce was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Elbert Lee and Mandy Kines Pierce.
