“SNAPSHOT DAY: ONE DAY IN THE LIFE OF ALABAMA PUBLIC LIBRARIES”
The Cherokee County Public Library is joining public libraries across the state of Alabama in participating in “Snapshot Day: One Day in the Life of Alabama Public Libraries” on Tuesday, August 16th, to show how important public libraries and library systems are to the state of Alabama. We invite patrons to drop by from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and tour the library, enjoy light refreshments, view the library’s historic photo collection in honor of Cherokee County’s 180th year, have their pictures taken, and fill out a comment card.
On August 16, Cherokee County Public Library will compile statistics, patron comments, photographs, and other data chronicling a typical library day. The results at your library will be added to those of public libraries across Alabama to show how libraries provide invaluable services to Alabama citizens.
