Evie Darnett Henderson Wright, 52 of Centre, passed away Monday, August 8th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:PM Friday, August 12th at Macedonia Baptist Church, with Pastor Keith Lambert officiating; burial will follow in Fife Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1 until 2:PM Friday, at the church.
Pallbearers will be Nephews.
Survivors include her husband Jimmie Wright; son, Rihied Harris of Ft. Riley, KS; daughters, Jeanette Henderson of Centre; special daughter, Rhondnesha Covington of Centre; mother, Jeanette Fife Henderson of Centre; brothers, Robert Henderson of Centre, Jeffrey Henderson of Centre; sisters, Betty (Larry) Perry of Centre, Rhonda (Dennis) Diamond of Centre, Emma (Charles) Jelks of Centre; two grandchildren, Keylon Higgins, Jayvierre Henderson; special nephew, Hubert Perry; special cousin, William Jones; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Henderson; sisters, Bonnie Douglas, Debra Perry.
Mrs. Wright was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Robert Lovell Henderson and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
