Two northwest Georgia women were arrested on possession of marijuana charges, Monday in Cherokee County.

  Ashley Nicole Hazzard, age 24, and Truvenia Clarece Campbell, age 27, both from Rome – were charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both were booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center just prior to midnight with a bond of $1,000 being imposed on each subject.
