A 41 year old woman has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the death of a Wellington man Wednesday night (August 6th).
Calhoun County authorities arrested Lori Williamson after she told investigators she stabbed the victim – 50 year old John Fitzgerald Hicks – in the chest.
Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown pronounced Hicks dead around 10:30pm.
Sheriff’s Office Deputies received a call at about 9:00pm, reporting an unresponsive man in the yard of a home in the Wellington area.
