A Piedmont woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident taking place in Cherokee County on Highway 9 just after 4:00pm Thursday.
According to that accident report from the Alabama State Troopers Post at Jacksonville, 65 year old Mary Surrett, driving a 1982 Toyota was listed as being hurt in the mishap but the report did not contain any information regarding the extent of her injuries.
