The Cherokee County Department of Human Resources has a new Director, Gerald Ware.
He comes to the office from Jackson County.
Mr. Ware spoke to a large group of business and community leaders Thursday afternoon during open house with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Chamber of Commerce at the facility at 202 Dean Buttram Sr. Drive.
