David Austin Chaviers from Altoona was arrested and charged with Theft of Property 1st Degree and Burglary 3rd Degree, both felonies – in connection with the theft of a 2004 Kawasaki Prairie Twin V four-wheeler from a residence on Highway 32 in Altoona.
Investigator Robin Grant said that the 19 year old was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $7,500 bond.
The four-wheeler has been recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
