Ms. Lorene “pig” Chapman Dupree, age 64, of 281 pledger St., Lafayette, GA formerly of Alabama, passed away February 5, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones. Ms. Dupree was born in Gaylesville, AL, on April 8, 1950, daughter of the late D.D. Chapman and Lucille Kirby Chapman.

She is survived by her son Dewayne Chapman, Cedar Bluff; daughter in-law, Stephanie Chapman, Cedar Bluff; daughter, Deborah Chapman, Lafayette; Lorene ” Granny” is also survived by her grandchildren, Anna, Aneetra, Christopher (dj), Joshua, Tucker and Jacameron; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 @ 1:30 (CST) at Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 106 Carmen Ave, Gadsden, AL with Rev. Thomas Trammell officiating. The body will lie instate at the church from 12:30 (CST) until the service time. Interment will follow in Cedar Bluff.
