Mr. Michael Lynn Jenkins, age 65 of Collinsville passed away Wednesday January 29th in Collinsville.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, February 2nd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Bruce officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Lookout Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 PM Saturday.

Pallbearers include Jacob Blackwell, Mike Justice, Henry Barnby, Phillip Hueple, Luke Tinsley, Jeff Atkins. Honorary Pallbearer will be Chase Lancaster & Jamie Jenkins.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ramsey Jenkins; brothers, Julius Jenkins of Sand Rock, Donald Jenkins of Hanceville; sister, Joan Toyer of Idaho; several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by our loving son, Brian Jenkins; brother, James Jenkins; sisters, Faye Burkette, Nona Pledger, Betty Hueple, Gayle Blackwell, Bobbie Carson.

Mr. Jenkins was a native of Etowah County, the son of the late James Leonard and Lona Mae Holmes Jenkins, was self employed at Jenkins Irrigation and was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.

Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital or the family will accept flowers.
