The same storm system that resulted in Severe Storm Warnings being issued Saturday morning in Cleburne and Calhoun Counties moved into Georgia, causing damage to Polk Medical Center in Cedartown.
According to the National Weather Service, two metal frame pieces were blown off the southwest corner of the building.
Six vehicles and a nearby home sustained damage from the flying debris.
There was also some minor flooding in the basement of the hospital due to runoff.
It is believed at this time that the roof damage was caused by straight line winds of up to 80 miles per hour.
No patients in the hospital were injured.
