An Anniston man has been arrested on sexual abuse of a child charges.
According to the website al.com Anniston Police Captain Allen George stated 41 year old Rafael Henry Hammond, has been charged with Sexual Abuse of a Child under the Age of 12, and more charges may be forthcoming.
George said an investigation was launched on August 25th after a woman told police the victim’s step-father had been touching the child inappropriately for close to a year.
The Calhoun/Cleburne Children’s Center assisted police in interviewing the child.
Hammond is currently being held on a $30,000 bond.
