One person was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 411 outside of Centre Friday afternoon.
According to troopers from the Jacksonville Post of the Alabama State Patrol, the wreck occurred at around 1:55 p.m. near Jordan’s Gin at Mile Marker 248 and involved a 2003 Honda Civic, driven by 47-year old Terry LaCroy of Centre and a 1995 Cadillac, driven by Phillip Jordan.
LaCroy was injured and transported by Cherokee EMS to an undisclosed hospital.
The Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene.
The wreck tied up traffic in both directions for more than an hour.
