Mr. Billy “Egghead” Stokes, age 75 of Leesburg, passed away Sunday, October 6th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3:PM Thursday, October 10th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dan Clanton and Rev. Chad Brown officiating; burial will follow in Sheppard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Thursday.
Pallbearers will be friends.
Survivors include his son, Johnny Stokes of Leesburg; daughter, Lisa Stokes of Florida; sister, Etta Ruth Tucker of Leesburg; 2 grandchildren; nieces & nephews.
Mr. Stokes was a native of Calhoun County, the son of the late Fayette and Effie Bell Miller Stokes and was of the Baptist Faith.
