Bill Gene Kimmerling, age 76 of Centre, passed away Saturday, September 28th at his residence.

Funeral services will be 11:AM Wednesday, October 2nd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ricky Pollard officiating; burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Tuesday.

Pallbearers include Jim Gibbs, Jon Brogdon, Joe Schmitt, Jeffery Blair, Oneal Black and Tony Searcy.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Louise Conley Kimmerling; son, William Michael Kimmerling of Dallas, GA; daughters, LeAnn (Jon) Brogdon of Anderson, IN, Kathy (Oneal) Black of Ft. Payne, Lisa (Jim) Gibbs of Centre, Kelly (Bob) Brockton of Huntsville; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Conley Kimmerling, brothers, John W. Kimmerling and Harold L. Kimmerling; sisters, Elizabeth Thrawley, Ruth Kimmerling and Martha Kimmerling.

Mr. Kimmerling was a native of Anderson, IN, the son of the late Lora Lee and Nellie May Wilkins Kimmerling and was of the Baptist faith.
