Mrs. Shirley Jeanette Comer, age 75 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Saturday, June 8th at Dekalb Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Roger Wilson and Wayne Killian officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers include Jeffrey Richardson, Stanley Reynolds, Dan Bain, Jeremy McCord, George Miller and Josh Jenkins.

Survivors include her husband, William Jerry comer; daughters, Jerri Littlejohn of Cedar Bluff and Sondra Miller of Centre; sister, Doris Culpepper; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Comer was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Rufus Washington and Willie Sue Hurley Culpepper and was of the Methodist faith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salem United Methodist Church cemetery fund.
