The investigation into what caused an automobile fire in Pennville continues.
At around 3:30 Thursday afternoon, a silver Ford Explorer, burned in the lot of Superior Tans on Highway 27, next door to Triple A Transmission.
According to the Summerville News the vehicle, registered to a Chattooga County resident – was heavily damaged by flames, smoke and water.
Fire units from Summerville, Trion and Hays State Prison all responded to the call.
It appears no one was hurt during the incident.
