Mr. James Barry Weaver, age 53 of Centre, passed away May 30th at Cherokee Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Tucker officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
Survivors include his wife, Deabra Waites Weaver of Centre; mother, Edith Weaver of Stony Point, NC; brother, George Weaver of Stony Point, NC; and sister, Debra (Mark) Dula of Stony Point, NC.
Mr. Weaver was a native of North Carolina and was preceded in death by his father, James Henry Weaver.
Mr. Weaver was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
