A Crossville man is facing drug charges following the consent search of his residence, conducted by members of the Dekalb County Drug Task Force and the Marshall County Drug Enforcement Unit.

On Wednesday, agents performed that search at the home of 56 year old William Thomas Crane, on Highway 227 – and discovered approximately one ounce of meth; guns were also seized with a small amount of cash.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris says Crane was charged with Trafficking Meth, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawul Possession of a Controlled Substance.

He remains in the DeKalb County Detention Center awaiting bond.
