Three Summerville men have been arrested and charged in connection with the rape of an 18-year old girl.

24-year-old Robert Earl Brooks, III and 43-year-old Michael Pauly Perry are charged with rape while 24-year old Justin Lopaz Foster is charged with aggravated sodomy.  

According to Summerville Police Department Investigator Josh Brock, the incident is alleged to have occurred at the home of one of the suspects.  

One of the three men involved allegedly gave the young woman a ride to the residence.  

She reportedly thought they were just going to hang out and had no idea the other men were going to be there. 

After the alleged rape occurred the men reportedly took the young woman home, where she immediately told her mother of the incident.

She also was allegedly sent a text message by one of the men telling her not to go to police.

The family contacted police the next day, according to Brock.  The woman was taken to the Sexual Assault Center where a rape kit was done.
