Brett Keasler has been named the new Director and Principal of the Cherokee County Career and Technology Center.
The Board of Education voted to transfer Keasler during their Tuesday night meeting.
That vote was not unanimous with board member Lynn Rochester voting “No.”
We asked Guice following the meeting about Keasler’s contract.
Keasler will start the new job on January the 18th.
That will give officials time to fill his current position as Secondary Math Teacher at Gaylesville School.
The Cherokee County School Board has accepted the resignation of board attorney R.A. Brooks.
Superintendent Mitchell Guice read the resignation letter during Tuesday’s school board meeting.
