A 79 year old Guntersville man has been booked into the Marshall County Detention Center – on charges of sexually abusing two young girls.
Robert Thomas Stanton stands charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.
Boaz Police told WAFF TV48 that the incidents involved a ten year old and an eleven year old at a home in Boaz back in February (2014).
Stanton’s arrest followed an indictment by a Marshall County grand jury with indictments being a result of the two girls telling their parents.
Stanton is currently being held on bond of $300,000.
