ROME– The Rome Police Department has promoted Kameron Bell, Casey Cook, and Will Rains to Police Officer First Class.
The designation, also known as PFC, recognizes the officers’ experience and completion of the department’s promotion requirements.
According to the department, officers must have at least two years on the job to qualify. They also must complete a written exam and an interview.
The department described the promotions as a major career milestone reflecting the officers’ work to learn, grow, and serve the community.
In addition, the department thanked Bell, Cook, and Rains for their dedication to the people of Rome. It invited community members to join in congratulating all three officers on their accomplishments.
