ATTALLA– The Attalla Police website now offers easier access to department information, reports, forms, and community services.

The Attalla Police Department recently announced the update as another way to stay connected with the community. In addition, the redesigned page places several commonly requested services in one location.

Residents can meet the department’s officers, review employment opportunities, and find current contact information. The page also provides online access to accident reports.

According to the department’s website, drivers can retrieve an accident report by entering the case number. However, the department asks users to allow 10 to 15 business days after an accident for the report to become available.

The updated site also includes forms for officer commendations and complaints. Therefore, residents can recognize outstanding service or submit feedback directly to the department.

Homeowners and business owners can also submit extra patrol requests online. The department asks residents to file those requests at least 24 to 48 hours in advance. Officers can then conduct periodic checks as daily call volumes allow.

In addition, the website includes an online weapon release request form and information about police employment opportunities.

The department lists its non-emergency number as 256-538-7837 and its anonymous tip line as 256-538-5670. In an emergency, residents should continue to call 911.

Police officials said the updated site reflects the department’s continuing effort to make information and services more accessible. Residents can visit the page to explore the available resources and submit eligible requests online.
