CENTRE- According to Cherokee County EMA, organizers have cancelled Saturday’s Boating Basics Course because of inclement weather.
The cancellation affects the class set for Oct. 10. The next course is Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026.
As a result, everyone registered for the October class will automatically transfer to the November course. Participants do not need to register again.
Organizers also thanked participants for their understanding and apologized for the inconvenience. They said the decision prioritizes the safety of participants and instructors.
