In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Thomas Wood, age 60 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Alex Jolly, age 22 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

James Crane, age 59 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a charge of contempt of court.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 115 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
