CEDAR BLUFF – The Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers swept an area volleyball match with Appalachian on Thursday. The scores were 25-23, 25-22 and 25-17.
Paityn Walker led the Lady Tigers (6-7) with 15 kills, nine digs, eight assists and an ace. Marlee Timm tallied 10 assists, seven digs and three kills. Vana Martin posted 30 digs and an ace. Cece Davis delivered 11 digs, 10 kills and two aces.
Piper Cromer contributed six digs, four kills and two aces. Marley Horton had two kills, a dig and a block. Jakirah Brown mananged three digs, a kill and a block. Makayla Kimmons came away with 12 digs. Jahleigh Dodd finished with three digs.
Cedar Bluff is at Valley Head next Thursday.
