In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jason Ray, age 48 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Arien Gray, age 29 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Melvin Heflin, age 63 of Bremen, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Kailey White, age 25 of Mentone, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 115 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
