GAYLESVILLE– Emergency crews responded around 1:05 p.m. Thursday to a single-vehicle accident on County Road 80 east of Gaylesville near the state line.
Reports indicated one person was outside the vehicle and lying on the ground when Gaylesville Fire and Rescue responders arrived.
Atrium Health Floyd EMS was dispatched to provide treatment and transport the victim to a trauma center.
Alabama State Troopers investigated the accident.
