In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Melvin Heflin, age 63 of Bremen, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charges.

Tristan Bruno-Mendez, age 30 of Menlo, Georgia, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking meth.

Amber Schrader, age 28 of Menlo, Georgia, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of trafficking meth and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Laura Bice, age 53 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on two counts of probation violation.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 116 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
