SAND ROCK– Downtown Sand Rock will come alive Wednesday, Aug. 12, for an America 250 and back-to-school celebration featuring live music, food, and activities for children.
The celebration will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m., with live country music from Stranded. Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and settle in for the evening.
Several local organizations will offer refreshments. The Sand Rock Fire Department will sell hot dogs, Sand Rock Cross Country will have snow cones, and Round Mountain Masonic Lodge will sell drinks.
Children can also enjoy two free inflatables during the event.
