FORT PAYNE– The Fort Payne Police Department is investigating an alleged hidden camera inside the men’s restroom at the Rusty Barrel Saloon and Grub.
Police Chief David Davis said the department received a complaint concerning the camera on July 16, 2026. The case was then assigned to the department’s Investigation Division.
During the initial investigation, investigators developed evidence indicating that a camera had been placed inside the men’s restroom.
Police believe the period under investigation extends from March 2025 through October 2025.
Anyone who believes they may have been a victim during that period should contact the Fort Payne Police Department’s Investigation Division at (256) 845-1414.
Because the investigation remains ongoing, police said no additional information will be released at this time.
