In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Justin McKay, age 39 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 3rd degree domestic violence and criminal mischief.

Zachery Owens, age 30 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on four previous charges.

Erika Day, age 30 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Robert McGill, age 35 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Becky Pannell, age 43 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 105 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
