In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Patrick McMurray, age 46 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of attempting to elude, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Honeycutt, age 58 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on four previous charges.

Brad Kirby, age 45 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree burglary.

Amanda Hickman, age 41 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of three counts of the illegal possession of pills and a warrant arrest-juvenile court.

David Canipe, age 64 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of cruelty to animals.

Dimples Kanipe, age 57 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of cruelty to animals.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
