In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Nickolas Helms, age 26 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence.

Joshua Cecil, age 40 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of possession with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tempering with physical evidence.

Janet Wigley, age 50 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 95 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
