Three-Alarm Fire Destroys Mobile Home in Gaylesville

GAYLESVILLE– A three-alarm fire destroyed a mobile home on County Road 41 Sunday morning, according to the Gaylesville Fire Department.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 2600 block of County Road 41 at approximately 9:38 a.m. Gaylesville, Broomtown and Cedar Bluff fire departments responded.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the mobile home. Firefighters battled the blaze and remained at the scene for more than three hours.

The Gaylesville Fire Department said the home was a total loss. The department contacted the Red Cross to provide assistance to the family.

No additional details were available.
