In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Brent Sloman, age 49 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of attempting to elude a police officer and for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Ashley Spivey, age 36 of Armuchee, Georgia, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ethel Jeter, age 65 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
