ATTALLA- The Attalla Police Department says the railroad crossing on Highway 77 at 3rd Street SW, also known as Highway 11, will close for repairs beginning at about 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

Police say the crossing will remain closed until repairs are complete.

The work is expected to take about one day. However, officials say the timeline will depend on weather and could change.

Drivers should use an alternate route, expect delays, and use caution in the area.
