CENTRE – A two-vehicle accident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Highway 411 and the Clarence E. Chesnut Jr. Bypass in Centre.
The Centre Police Department, Centre Fire Department, Cherokee County Rescue Squad, and Atrium Floyd EMS were dispatched to the scene.
According to first responders, three people were involved in the crash. No injuries were reported.
Traffic was slowed while first responders directed vehicles through the intersection; however, all roadways remained open during the response.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
