CENTRE – Providence Baptist Church is inviting children from across the area to attend its 2026 Vacation Bible School, themed “Shine a Light on Jesus!”

The four-day event will be held July 5 through July 8, with activities taking place each evening from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the church, located at 9750 Alabama Highway 9 South in Centre.

This year’s program, “Illumination Station,” is designed to help children grow in their faith through Bible lessons, music, crafts, games and other Christ-centered activities in a welcoming environment.

Vacation Bible School is open to children 4 years old through sixth grade, and families throughout the community are encouraged to participate.

Church leaders invite parents and guardians to register their children and join them for an exciting week of learning, fellowship and discovering how to let the light of Jesus shine in their lives.
