In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Peter Dasilva, age 35 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

John Fann, age 32 of Huntsville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of parole violation.

Alan Booker, age 50 of Tucker, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence.

Nicholas Johnston, age 31 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Tara Edgeworth, age 41 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 83 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
