One Person Injured in a Two Vehicle Crash In Leesburg

The Crash involved an SUV and an Electric Scooter. The operator of the Scooter was injured and unconscious when Emergency Responders arrived on the scene. Atrium Floyd EMS administered treatment on the scene and transported the injured victim to a local hospital according to Leesburg Police Chief, Hunter Brisendine.

While the SUV sustained minor damage, there were no injuries to the occupants.

Leesburg Fire Department responded with assistance at the scene.

Chief Brisendine reminds the Public, Scooters, ATV’s, Four Wheelers, and Golf Carts are illegal to be on the roadways and can be extremely dangerous.
