In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jason Hobbs, age 47 of Wedowee, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and 4th degree theft of property.

Joseph Jackson, age 53 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Wendy Ball, age 54 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Edgar Guzman Rodriguez, age 22 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 1st degree retail theft.

Dustin Bright, age 45 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 83 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
