In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Michael King, age 43 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Ethel Jeter, age 65 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Scott Johnson, age 52 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a charge of the possession of unlawful hemp products.

Dontavius Hendrix, age 30 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Nicholas Cannestro, age 61 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a grand jury indictment-3rd degree theft of property.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 78 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
