In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Dustin Bright, age 45 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Joseph Jackson, age 53 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Joseph Maxwell, age 55 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Larry Hill, age 42 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of methamphetamine-possess, the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, and the unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 85 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
