McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club to Host 12th Annual Veterans and Military Community Celebration May 16

CENTRE- The McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club will host its 12th Annual May Community Celebration honoring all veterans and military service on Saturday, May 16, at the Hopewell Community Center in Centre.

The event will be held at 7290 County Road 16 and will feature a patriotic program beginning at 10 a.m. Central Time, with guest presentation “Peter the Patriot” highlighting the celebration.

Following the program, attendees will be served a pork loin lunch. A suggested donation of $12 per plate is requested, with veterans being served free of charge as a gesture of appreciation for their service.

The annual gathering is designed to recognize and honor the sacrifices of military members and veterans while bringing the community together in a shared expression of gratitude.
