Historical Preservation Society to Host April 30 Meeting in Centre

CENTRE — The Historical Preservation Society will hold its next meeting on Thursday night, April 30, at the museum in Centre.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will feature guest speaker David Lee, who will present a program on a Hessian ancestor who fought during the American Revolution.
Organizers say the presentation will offer historical insight into the role of Hessian soldiers and their connection to local or regional history.
The meeting is open to the public, and all interested in local and historical topics are encouraged to attend.
